Zengpeng grew up in Shantou, Guangdong province where he obtained his bachelor’ s degree in Biotechnology from Southern Medical University that is located in the beautiful city of Guangzhou. He joined the Li Lab in 2019 and became a member of this big family. He is broadly interested in the metabolic and biochemical basis of metabolic diseases, such as type 2 diabetes and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). He loves many kinds of sports, including running and playing basketball.
