Huang Mengyao grew up in Jiangsu Province and obtained her bachelor’s degree in Basic Medical Sciences from Nanjing Medical University. She then went to Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health, CAS and joined the Li Lab to pursue her PhD studies in 2022. She is interested in the metabolic and biochemical changes of metabolic diseases, including insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes and obesity. In her spare time she enjoys some ball games including table tennis and badminton.
