Qian keyu grew up in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. She received her bachelor's degree in Inner Mongolia University, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia in 2023, majoring in food Science and Engineering. In September of the same year, she went to Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health at Chinese Academy of Sciences and joined Li lab to start her graduate study.

Her research interests is mainly focused on dietary nutrition and health, as well as functional food research and development, including the nutritional research of Antarctic Krill and development of a seasoning based on it. She is interested in working as a nutritionist and contributing to the improvement of human health. 

She is optimistic and kind to others. She likes to try different kinds of hobbies, such as drumming and boxing. She loves traveling and tasting delicious food, experiencing the customs, culture and characteristics of different regions. In addition, she likes watching concerts, and her favorite singer is Joker Xue.
